“We stayed in Buttercup cottage. We were greeted by our host Rachel and made to feel very welcome. The cottage was spotlessly clean with everything we could need. “The cottage is stunning and the location is perfect for what we needed. The separate chalet with one of the double rooms was useful for this as it meant my parents didn't have to manage lots of stairs.Its a 20 minute walk outside of Whitby (mostly downhill after a sharp uphill, remember that on the way back!) and that walk is very picturesque with some great views across the countryside.Currently the narrow lane alongside the cottage is closed to vehicles, which if anything is a good thing as……
