"Staff super friendly and helpful"

"What a decadent experience in low-key, authentic Japanese style. Not a detail was spared in the gorgeous historic building and lush forest grounds. The several course meals were outstanding, served in our private dining room and the staff was beyond helpful and gracious. The multiple onsens on property were beautiful and healing, you can even reserve one for an hour of private use. "外国人の友人を含め、4名で宿泊させていただきました。お部屋は程よい大きさで、３部屋に区分されていましたので、プライバシーも守られ満足でした。 ただお部屋のベッドルームと入口の電気が切れていたのが残念でした。すぐに対応はしてくださいましたが、事前に確認しておいてほしかったです。 お料理は夜も朝も程よい量で、美味しくいただきました。 また機会があれば宿泊したいと思いました。"

"The staff at CousCous were incredible! They were so kind and diligent. We felt at home from the start. The food was delicious and well priced, the tents were warm, immaculate, and cosy, they all had heated rugs and heaters, we very very comfortable in the middle of winter. Ordering food directly to your tent was so convenient and the food was absolutely amazing, and really good value! (Apple pie was <1000¥) my wife and I had an amazing experience and I strongly recommend them!"

"This was a beautiful property. Everything was clean, updated, and easy to find. The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would love to stay here again!!"
