Perfect place to relax after a busy day

We came to Aberdeen for a soccer tournament. The room was clean and so was the hotel. The breakfast was great and the staff kept it stocked up. The pool area was perfect for al of our kids with ages from 2-10.

Holiday inn Express

Thè room was spotless. The employess were very helpful. There was a delicious breakfast in the morning with a very friendly lady working it. The kids really enjoyed the pool even though it needed some maintenance. We had a Great stay!

The pool or water park was greatly appreciated. My children had great times. My children didn't want to leave the pool. I didn't enjoy the breakfast. There wasn't lots of options.

Meh Ok stay, but good staff!

Was expensive for the stay. Room was so-so, alot of dirty walls. The pool was a mosh pit. The manager did come in and sort things out. Almost all the lights were out in the pool area. Doors were open random people would come in and think it was a party zone. Paper thin walls. Rooms are now dated compared to other hotels in the area! Water slide is a lot of fun but rust is setting in everywhere, paint chips stick to your feet. The staff on day time was new, but helpful! Nighttime lady was great helping us get a new towel and toothbrush. The manger on duty both days was A+

Overall comfortable stay

Overall our stay was very pleasant, the morning staff is amazing, super bubbly and always welcoming. Great continental breakfast. The beds were very comfortable as well. My complaints would be cleanliness of the pool, the curtains did not shut so you didn’t feel like you had privacy, along with if you have little traveling with you nap time becomes a problem when the room is so bright. Our room was also quite expensive, and we didn’t have a microwave. However we did have a little fridge. Last complaint would have to be the night staff it was very difficult to find someone at the front desk.

This was one of our best stays in Aberdeen yet. My party consists of my wife and 5-year old daughter. The pool area is perfect for kids - we certainly enjoyed the slide and the overall size of this space was great. The pool is showing some signs of wear and tear and it can get a bit crazy at times depending on the number of folks utilizing the space. We experience a rough birthday party of boys that made the experience less than desirable at times. Our room was spacious and clean - exactly what we needed. Having breakfast was excellent although the attendant in charge was often overwhelmed and generally didn't have the disposition required for such a high stress environment. Food was standard hotel breakfast fair and we were happy that Coffee shops were located so close for additional coffee options. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you are traveling with kids for a weekend getaway to Storybook Land. It was nice having an indoor pool option to get away from the summer heat.
