A fabulous holiday home in a stunning location!We had a wonderful week's holiday here in North Wales. We had a very warm welcome from the owners and were delighted to see the pictures of the property did not do it justice. It is set in a rural landscape affording splendid views all round, with only the sound of the birds and sheep in the background (and the occasional tractor). Sitting outside on the decking to dine alfresco and watch the setting sun was so relaxing.The Lodge itself is well equipped for self catering, though there are many eateries within a short drive if you prefer . The owners provide lots of information on places to visit and for eating out. There is no shortage of beautiful places to visit and things to do in this area of the country, from mountains to coast and everything in between! The open plan lounge/diner/kitchen provides an excellent social space and in inclement weather you can still enjoy the surrounding countryside, especially with the lovely wood burner lit! The owners dogs Winnie & Ben are very friendly too. There are a couple of yurts and a shepherd's hut on site but these do not impinge on the privacy of the Lodge in any way. The Lodge is a spacious, comfortable, warm and homely place whatever the weather!
