「The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night....

「We really enjoyed our stay at The Trout Cafe. Our room was really clean and comfortable, there was an electric fan which was appreciated as it was very warm weather. The shower was easy to use and very good. There were biscuits with the tea and coffee which was nice. We had breakfast and the food was very good and included in the price of the room. 「Room was comfy and really clean. Bathroom was well maintained and spotless. The guest house had a fantastic location with beach and town centre only 2 minutes walk away. Although food is not available there are plenty of cafe close by. There are EV chargers a few minutes walk away but do get full mid morning. Host are friendly and happy to help. 「Lovely old building with some beautiful original features. The rooms we had were extremely spacious and the beds were very comfortable, I certainly had a great night sleep! Breakfast was superb, a great varied menu and happy to make changes to suit. One big bonus was the enclosed garden which was great for the dogs. Sue and the staff we met were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We’ll definitely be back!」

「Excellent quality accommodation, situated within sight of the sea front. Very tidy well maintained property, quiet and comfortable. Only problem was car parking facility, which was a council owned park opposite. Charges were very high hourly, £7 for a day. In all, an excellent break. 」

「The location of the property to what we wanted to do was excellent. Room was brilliant excellent hosts breakfast was hot and well presented. The owners couldn’t do enough for you. They took our cases to the room And brought them to our car. Would 100 per cent recommend this establishment.」

「Absolutely amazing! Location very convenient for walking to Llanchanaeron House - National Trust (44 mins) or ambling down to the high street (15 mins). Close to shops, bars, restaurants and the seafront. Accommodation is a very beautiful, comfortable house, breakfast lots of choices and delicious. We definitely would love to revisit Aberaeron and stay again. 」

Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night. The toilet also did not work properly, the flush was extremely weak. There was no way of contacting the hotel at night to sort out the shower issue and the reception runs from 3pm to 6pm instead of 8pm as stated here. Would recommend if those management issues were fixed."
