“Excellent breakfast, comfy bed and a room with a good temperature and impressive house keeping. I had stupidly left 2 spoons in my room that had been cleared away by housekeeping but they managed to locate them next day!! That’s going the extra mile. The garden wing building isn’t the prettiest but the rooms are refurbed and the grounds of the hotel are nice. Changing rooms are small but for the price it’s a great deal. ”

“We are visiting from Australia and this place is absolutely awesome! Amazing location yet within walking distance to pubs / restaurants and town centre. Incredibly quiet being in a country setting and lots of opportunities for walks by the river. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were able to have breakfast outside in the lovely garden. We felt well looked after. Highly recommend!”

“Perfect for a couple and the view across the fields was beautiful. Location is very quiet and has very easy access to the A420 into Oxford and the A34. There is a dedicated parking place and easy access to the property. Modern bathroom and good kitchen facilities. There are a couple of good pubs nearby, although we never tried the Plough in Appleton. Chantal was a great host and responded very quickly to a query we had about the heating. ”
