「Great host and wonderful location. 」

「Lovely place to stay for a country Maine experience, and very accessible to Acadia’s hiking trails (Giant Slide Trail, challenging boulder scramble!). Well-stocked kitchen (spices galore) and living room (games, books). We didn’t find coffee or toiletries but brought our own. Instructions were very clear. Property owner was very responsive with communications. Abel’s Lobster Pound nearby was a superbly scenic place to enjoy a delicious dinner and refreshing drinks the first night! 」

「We visited Blue Hill and Acadia with two families. We needed a place that was suitable for six kids and four adults. This place was far better than we could have even imagined. It was a clean and historical property that has been thoughtfully renovated. The grassy area in the front is perfect for yard games and relaxation. The owners were extremely thoughtful and considerate. They even prepared a fire and welcomed us with s'mores supplies and other local treats. We will be returning! 」

「This is a wonderful (old) house with lots of space. The bedrooms are nicely separate, making it perfect for any group of people that would like some level of privacy. The outdoor fire pit is especially nice. It is 25-30 minute distance from Acadia and Bar Harbor, which we did not find an obstacle. It has a large dinging room table perfect for dinner and games. The kitchen is well furnished. Really perfect for a family visit to Acadia. 」
