“Highbrook Motel was a great place to stay. We were there 5 nights. Our room was very clean with good quality linens and towels, water pressure was great, amenities more than adequate. It was so convenient to order breakfast every day to eat in our room or on the porch in front of our room. We had access to more coffee, chocolate chip cookies and ability to pop popcorn. Front desk is very responsive. We could walk or ride a shuttle to town for restaurants and to see the sights. We hope to stay……

“Great house. Really quant. Amazing deck with views. Easy to get to and easy to check in and out. Maine is a great place to visit. The weather was amazing. In the 70’s. But bring bug spray! :) ”

“Property is ideal for a couple or small family. Located off Main Street in Bar Harbor, it was perfect for walks to restaurants, shops, the Shore Path or anything else in the downtown area and also minutes away from Acadia National Park. The place was really clean and had all the basics needed for the week. The owners, Lisa and Rick, made check in easy and were quick to respond to questions. As others have said, this house is a hidden gem in Bar Harbor. I would definitely book again if I ever go……

“We loved this house. To say it was clean is an understatement! We were very comfortable here and would stay here again in a heartbeat. She was quick to respond and supplied me with every bit of information I needed before checking in. We had zero problems! ”

“This place has a fantastic view! There is a huge yard right on the water with relaxing chairs. The patio has a picnic table and a great grill. The owners lived next door and had chickens and gave us a dozen really fresh eggs. The inside was clean and comfortable. New appliances and whatever you could possibly need. There were kayaking boats, oars and vests that the 19!year olds used. It was so much fun!”
