"We really enjoyed staying in a real house in a real neighborhood for our trip to Kyoto. There was plenty of room for our small family, and we felt we had a more authentic visit to this beautiful city. The amenity is lacking a few things (for example, it tells the guest to wash dishes and put them away but doesn’t provide a clothe to dry them). Also, the instruction isn’t super clear. "The house was great and in perfect condition. Great location as it is 3 min from the Inari shrine and close to the train station which is always helpful. Nothing to complain about except 1 thing: there was no pool table as shown on the photos and we were not told about it. The guy who gave us the keys told us it is being fixed, which is fine but we would have prefered to know beforehand as we were very excited about it. "

"Perfect location and beautiful room. We were walking distance to everything. The breakfast was amazing and worth adding. The staff was great and we loved the gym. The restaurants and bars had gorgeous views. I would stay here again. The only thing I was disappointed with was that the hot tub was a part of the spa and required a purchase of the spa package to utilize so we didn’t get to put our bathing suits to use. But I probably read the site wrong that’s my fault."
