50 m2 of waterfront terrace, breathtaking views, direct access to the sea, walking distance to restaurants and shops and, finally, a huge hammam-style bathroom with whirlpool.

This is Terrazza Reale, an eclectic two-bedrooms apartment located in a waterfront villa Acitrezza, one of the most vibrant and picturesque fisherman's villages of the East coast of Sicily, just outside Catania.

If you are looking to enjoy the Mediterranean sea breeze and the Sicilian delicacies at any hours, Terrazza Reale is tailored for you.

WiFi, air-conditioning, dishwasher and washing machine will help you feeling at home.

Acitrezza is known for its picturesque bay characterised by Faraglioni, namely spikes of lava rock that rise from the clear Mediterranean water and which origin intertwines with the legend of the Cyclops.

Terrazza Reale is an apartment in villa with garden that has a direct access to the lava rocks by the sea. The garden and the access to the rocks are shared. The entrance to the apartment, the apartment and the stunning terrace are exclusively for you. You access from the garden and go up to the apartment with two flights of stairs. You can also access the villa directly on the first floor. In this way you need to go up only one flight of stairs.

At guests' disposal: two bicycles (one for men and one for women), two kayaks and a small rowing inflatable boat.

The following might be to be paid extra: Parking, Tourist tax.

Mr. Puglisi was a great host. Helped us find free parking, generally was very welcoming and helpful. The apartment is large, with a terrace overlooking the sea. You can see the Cyclopean Isles formed from the rocks that that cyclop Polyphemus threw in the ocean trying to hurt Odysseus after the latter blinded him.

appartement dans résidence de deux étages avec une vue mer à 180 ° : époustouflante ! superbe terrasse ; se situe à 20 minutes du centre de Catane; l'intérieur est meublé correctement, la salle de bain est immense avec douche et baignoire: le peu de débit d'eau nous a obligé à démonter et nettoyer le pommeau de douche ); la climatisation des chambres est silencieuse mais elles donnent sur la rue qui est très passagère et très bruyante même la nuit. Le tri des déchets est assez strict en Sicile il faut en tenir compte. Il faut noter un plus, la flexibilité des heures d'arrivée: grande souplesse et facilité d'accès. De plus grande réactivité de la personne responsable du logement : nous avons eu un problème avec la Wi-Fi le dimanche et dans la journée le boîtier a été changé . En résumé très bon séjour

Franco, pour la gestion du séjour sur place a été aux petits soins pour nous.

Hét 'unique selling point' van deze plek is het terras! De inrichting van de woning is dringend aan wat modernisering toe, net als het terrasmeubilair, maar de locatie is helemaal top. Heerlijk snorkelen voor de deur en plekken als Taormia, de Etna en Catania binnen beperkte afstand. Franco Puglisi is en bijzonder vriendelijke en behulpzame host!

Breathtaking views from the balcony. You can get lost in the sounds of the sea. Convenient location for day trips. The host is very friendly and helpful. He makes the guest really comfortable. Some furniture updates would be good both indoor and outdoor. Very well stocked in amenities.

Wonderful terrace

Good communications through Whatsapp with Francesco and an easy check in process. Short walk into town where there are lots of restaurants. Small supermarket a few metres from the apartment on the walk into Acitrezza. Air conditioning was very effective. Lovely terrace. What stops it being excellent is that the furnishings, with the exception of the recently refurbished kitchen, are internally and externally getting a bit tired and need refreshing.

Tolle, großzügige Wohnung mit großer Sonnenterasse. Super netter Vermieter. Mehrzugang zum Schwimmen schwierig vor allem für Kinder. Dorfzentrum inclusive vieler Restaurants in 10 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Erkundung der Umgebung zu Fuss wegen Lage an der Hauptstrasse (Rückseite) schwierig. Räume voll klimatisiert.

Leider geben die Bilder den tatsächlichen Zustand der Wohnung nicht wieder. Die Terrassenmöbel sind in einem schlechten Zustand. Die Schlafzimmerfenster lassen sich nicht mehr öffnen. Die Beleuchtung im Badezimmer sehr schlecht. Wohnungseinrichtung nicht gemütlich.

My husband and I had the good fortune to spend a week at Mr. Puglisi’s absolutely spectacular apartment! Upon opening the door, we walked into the beautifully decorated apartment that appears even MORE beautiful than it does on the VRBO website. Everything was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished! Mr. Puglisi went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect and in order. Mr.Puglisi was a joy to work with, very helpful and communicative. The view was outstanding! Just gorgeous view right from the balcony. They detail and decoration of the apartment is exquisite.While not out and about Sicily, we spent our time enjoying the comforts of the apartment and the spectacular views from the balcony! The apartment is absolutely GORGEOUS! They have it decorated so beautifully and appropriately. Walking through the town, you can see other apartments, and they look NOTHING like this. The owners put their heart and soul into this, and it just doesn't compare with anything in the surrounding area. Everything in the apartment was just perfect! So many places to relax and appreciate the joy of life in Sicily... The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil and gadget you can think of, as well as dinnerware, glassware, pots and pans. We had most of our meals in house and with the full size refrigerator and fully equipped kitchen, we were able to cook healthy meals right here. The whirlpool tub was AMAZING! It is seriously high-tech and luxurious. If you are worried about hygiene, this is the perfect tub because it is designed to completely dry out the jets between use, so there is no standing water inside the pipes! It is completely soothing and provides comfort I can’t even begin to describe! Mr. Puglisi is so easy to work with and always available to assist with any question you might have. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. At night, the lights shine, and it is so gorgeous.The whole experience was amazing, and it was so awesome to come home every night to this beautiful property. We will DEFINITELY be returning back one day to this property...

Spektakuläre Terrasse, aber Sicherheitsrisiko durch Elektro-Verkabelung

Die Terrasse ist spektakulär und der Besitzer sehr freundlich, wir konnten auch eine Stunde früher einchecken. Von der Agentur haben wir niemanden gesehen. Das Apartment an sich ist sauber. 1 Stern Abzug, weil es in der Wohnung nach Moder oder altem Holz riecht; um das zu verdecken, sind überall in der Wohnung (teils elektrische) Duftspender verteilt. Die ganze Wohnung riecht also wie ein Wunderbaum, was man mögen muss. Die Waschmaschine ist alt und verschimmelt, das 2. Schlafzimmer durch die Lage direkt an der SS114 rund um die Uhr eher laut. Wirklich schlimm: Die Verkabelung sieht laienhaft selbstgemacht aus, im Badezimmer liegen offene Drähte unterhalb des Waschbeckens (s. Bild #7 rechts) und die Küche ist nicht korrekt geerdet. Beim Berühren der Außenwand des Geschirrspülers (nicht verkleidet oder befestigt) kommt es zu Stromschlägen. Daneben liegt ein händisch verlängertes Stromkabel, das nicht weiter befestigt oder gesichert ist. Da wir ein kleines Kind haben, sind wir aufgrund des Stromschlag-Risikos früher abgereist! Der Besitzer hat sich dafür entschuldigt ("I didn't know"), aber keinerlei Erstattung oder ähnliches angeboten. Wenn die Mängel behoben werden (Geruch, elektrische Verkabelung!) sicher 5 Sterne, so maximal 3.
