“The host, Chris was amazing, guiding us to his place, since we couldn’t find the entrance. Amenities were great, especially the cold water! Lovely house, comfortable beds. Would have loved to enjoy the outside seating area, will do so in the warmer weather. Only complaint was not knowing how to work the TV remotes! 2 TVs came on but channel changing was a mystery. “It's a very inexpensive VRBO for the size. You're upstairs in an old home, so there are people below you. It's a very odd layout, as the bathroom is way in the back. The floors are not level (old home), and the kitchen is appropriately but sparsely furnished. Most importantly, everything is very clean!! The floors, carpet, furnishings, etc are new-ish. The beds are okay, but not superb. It's located about 3 blocks from the Hornell YMCA.Again, for the amount of space you're getting it's very……

“Had plenty of room for all 6 guests. 7 would have been a okay too, we had a last minute cancellation. Host accommodated late check out for us since one of our guest fell the day before and broke her foot and we were waiting for a return call from the physician. Parking was not convenient because we had to park on another block. ”

“Our large family has enjoyed staying at the Highland House twice this year. We love the house which easily accommodates all of us for sleeping arrangements, family meals and game time. The younger kids had their own space while the adults were able to relax and spend time together. And we love walking through Wellsboro. Shannon has always been very helpful and accessible. ”
