Built from local stone and roofed with zinc to resist the wind, Agon Lighthouse has been a guiding light for mariners since 1856. The lighthouse is intimately linked with the history of Regnéville Harbour, which once enjoyed an annual traffic of more than three hundred ships from diverse origins such as England, Norway and France. The lighthouse is open to the public during special guided tours and exhibitions, but the surroundings can be visited at any time. #France #Normandy #Trovember

We had a lovely stay in this chalet cottage.... Beach is a short stroll away but if using the car there are generally plenty of places to park......Easy access to places of interest such as Mont St Michel and the Normandy landing beaches...... We really enjoyed our time here.

A warm welcome awaited us upon arrival. The property, was as described however we were sorry to find that the sea view was now being built upon.
