“The hotel is perched on a mountain side overlooking the Whales Tale of Uvita. There is an animal preserve within walking distance that provided an excellent opportunity to learn about Costa Rica's incredible animal life. The staff were wonderful - always smiling and willing to assist in any way.”

I did not realize that the rooms did not have A/C, so things were hot the first night (reception closed at 8:00), but they were able to get me another fan the second night l, which made things better. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay which included access to a local swimming hole which was very refreshing. The restaurant was the most expensive meal we had in Costa Rica and to be honest, the food was not bad, but not good. Definitely……

“Hôtel à éviter, attente de 10mn devant le portail fermé sans sonnette à l'arrivée, accueil quasi clandestin par une gardienne femme de ménage ne parlant que l'espagnol et pas prévenue de notre arrivée alors que j'avais réservé depuis des semaines, essayant de me passer au téléphone la patronne me raccrochant au nez à plusieurs reprises, pas d'enregistrement d'arrivée, aucun autre personnel, aucune prestation autre qu'un médiocre petit déjeuner, aucune boisson disponible, bar et piscine fermées,……

Very quaint and intimate location. Very romantic too. The pool was well maintained and cleaned everyday. Breakfast was delicious and the staff catered to our everyday need. The lunch and dinner menu was decent. Nothing special...but sufficient. There are gym facilities there..no treadmill..but you……
