「We were within about 10 blocks of Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden - this meant the only time we actually needed to ride the bus was to and from Kanazawa Station, only 3 stops away. The rest was completely walkable with kids. The apartment was located in Kinboro- well known for the several hundred year old Samurai residences. We were within a few hundred meters of excellent dining options. One of those was Izumino, whose amazing owners stuffed us with sashimi and crab cakes and spoiled...

「The property was right around the corner from the market, a short walk to wonderful tourist destinations in a town easy to travel in by bus. It was clean and much roomier than the place we had in Tokyo. The little balcony was nice to have.」

Like most places in Japan there’s a real lack of flexibility around bedding (the eiderdown/doona is way too hot with no other options - take note management.)」

「The home is on a busy street and shakes every time a bus goes by. They seem to stop by 10:00 PM and don't start again until 7:00 AM. If the house was 90 feet over it would certainly be better. Beds were comfortable and the home is close to The castle and the gardens, both of which are phenomenal to visit. The dining area is pleasant enough.
