We rented two rooms (mini suites) ,one for our guests a couple that was visiting us from another country and one for us. Walking into the lobby should have been our first clue. No one at the desk, the lady that was supposed to check us in was sitting on one of the worn out couches with her baby and a young daughter, talking on the phone. She had a friend attempt to check us in while she finished her phone conversation.When her friend was not able to do so, she finally got off the phone. Our suite was clean, but in poor condition. No bath mats, a torn in half bath towel for the one hand towel in the room, no washcloths but we did have 2 rag like bath towels. Many of the lights did not work. Our guests suite was bug and spider webb infested. It appeared not to have been used for quite some time. Roaches crawling all over the place. No hot water for either of us.Our guests stayed in the room the first night, and told us about it the next morning. I insisted they tell the front desk and ask to be moved. The second room they took them too was also unacceptable. The third room was much better. It appears this hotel is understaffed and under maintained. The pool was disgusting, I was glad we were not planning on swiming. The suites are hit and miss with how the ammentities are supplied ...bit's and pieces of dishes in the cupboards... one coffee mug for two people. Not that we would have even attempted to make coffee in the dirty looking coffee pot. My advise: DON'T STAY HERE.

Beautiful grounds

I loved the setting at the Capital O. We had a 2 bedroom suite, pet friendly room and it was wonderful! I did buy my own broom to clean as no one offered to do that. The restaurant across the garden was excellent and the area convenient to everything Ajijic..

La habitación bien, las instalaciones también, falta más atención del personal, y la alberca no está limpia para meterse, ya que no la lavan todos los días o cada tercer día. El Wifi tiene muchos problemas y la TV por cable también, aunque en realidad uno no va a esos lugares a ver el internet, pero hay que señalarlo.
