“Beautiful resort on an even better beach! Loved being able to walk steps to the beach and feel comfortable swimming in the nice clean and cool ocean. Take a little walk on the beach, head to the left and the very last massage spot (by the arch walkway) is a must! Puerto Vallarta is a lovely place with wonderful people. Nothing to fear at all!! ”

“This was our first time at Velas Vallarta. We have stayed at other similar resorts in different parts of Mexico over the last few years hands-down our family agreed this was the best resort yet we upgraded to a three bedroom family suite for a very reasonable cost upon check-in. The staff were all fantastic. The room was spotless and well appointed. The pool area was also spotless with nice furniture and more than adequate towels and service. I had read a number of reviews about the food prior……

“There are very few restaurants to choose from. On the first day we arrived, we only had a buffet, and it was super invincible terrible. All other restaurants need to make an appointment and we are Expedia customers so there is no room service for us. I can't order food to my room. There are only two bottles of water in the room, no refrigerator, no other soda and beer are even more impossible. Anyway We won't come back again”

“Great breakfasts, nice soups and salads at lunch. Great value for the price. Staff from the bar to the front desk was great. Alfredo at the al a carte restaurant gave excellent service. Highly recommend booking there . It's a bit misleading but most dishes on the menu are not an upcharge and it's so much more relaxing than the buffet. Lack of a bathroom at the beach was a bit inconvenient but we knew that when we signed up. Super easy to catch bus to Downtown and Marina . ”

“Booking this hotel was the best decision I made. From the welcoming staff all around to the delicious food at the restaurants and the clean less of the resort over all made our stay super relaxing and enjoyable. We had dinner at the Mexican restaurant and the cevicheria were our favorites. Los capitanes and waiters were very welcoming and friendly. Food was always hot and fresh. The food was very good compared to other all inclusives. Pool side service was great too. Our cups were always filled……

“A very nice resort that isn’t too big. Clean, kid friendly, air conditioning, daily activities and night shows. Great location with easy access to the port and to the center. There are options for eating outside the resort which is great for guests who choose not to use the all inclusive option. ”
