Good stay in Akumal

Close to beach and other activities. Snorkeling in lagoon great for beginners, but need to pay. Local restaurant La Buena Vida was excellent - good choice (also vegetarian) fresh fish etc. recommended!Peter.

Wonderful accommodation in a great location!

We had a wonderful stay in this cute modest sized accommodation steps from beautiful Half Moon Bay. The unit was very clean and nicely decorated. While it is small it is very comfortable and well furnished with A/C. The beach is some 30 steps from the front door and has several decent restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. The host provided easy to follow instructions for how to finding the unit. We had a most enjoyable stay without a hitch!

Icela's Beautiful & Cozy Space in Half Moon Bay is exactly that, and sweet as can be. The unit is like a little hobbit house, with everything we needed to live comfortably for a week. Bring your own groceries and settle in, you won't want to leave. Icela and her staff are wonderfully responsive to any needs that arise. The beach access, beach lounging, beach walking, and snorkeling - all right from our doorstep - were a total dream. I would recommend to Icela to provide some upright beach seating for morning coffee and meals.

Cute place

We loved this place right on the beach. We rented bicycles and did not have a problem getting anywhere including old town Akumal. Very safe location and restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay there again. Icela was so nice and helped us to rent the bikes and book a snorkeling tour.

Nice central location on Bahia de la Media Luna

Colorful, charming and cozy. Street is quiet at night. Location is easy to miss. It helps to know that this is at Luna Azul condos and if you get to the steps, you're a few steps too far.

The area I fine beaches and all, not the proerty

The Akumal property should not even be on the market without a thorough cleaning, cockroaches, ants, old sheets and towels, microwave did not work , the remote control for tv needed batteries the lighter for the propane cooker was empty . They are all small things but all together paying at the end over $ 100, it is very frustrating to find an uncomfortable place like that plus no Windows’s dishes dirty ,rusty pots. You are much betterFind another place. The area has a lot of activities, a few good restaurants . It is very nice.

Perfect little Casita

The location wasn't accurate on the map but that's a VRBO thing not an owner deal. But it was close enough to where I was looking for. I asked the manager if there were bicycle rentals nearby and she had one delivered within a few hours. There is a great little store very nearby. I found there to be mostly older people in the area. The kitchen is stocked with enough to make small meals. I would stay here again.

This is a great little bungalow, it had the right amount of the basics and anything it didn't have was at the corner store steps away.
