"We loved our stay. The room was bright and clean and we had a great view of the mountains in the back and of the farm animals. Elisabeth was a great host and the breakfast provided was so good. We enjoyed our chats with Elisabeth. I would highly recommend the guesthouse!"

We set up a tour to view the Northern Lights in Akureyri and we were taken up to the top of the ridge that overlooks Akureyri across the river. We had our best night of Northern Lights viewing taking this tour.

What an incredibly beautiful and convenient town smack in the middle of the ring road roundtrip. Good place to stop for a couple of days, rest, dine in the plenty of restaurants, go for a whale and puffin sighting tour from Husavik, Indian restaurant

It a beautiful small city, capital city of the north, quintessential Iceland styles and cultural care. I loved the visit.

Akureyri has easy access to quite a few harbors in the region that were fun to explore. Plenty of dining options are available so it's a nice place to stay while going out for the day to explore.

A very small and quite town which will be much busier in years to come now flights have started from Manchester & London. Activities to do in both winter and summer which makes it an all year round place to visit depending on weather preference.

It is an absolutely lovely area. The downtown is nice and the gardens are great.
"Literally a college dorm that is used as a hotel when students are out for summer. Shares parking with the botanical gardens. They are free and worth a visit."
"Great location. While I was here they were transitioning into some newly acquired space. Getting around the property was a little odd but of course this will be temporary. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The back of the property walks out to public parking and the front walks out to a pedestrian promenade with shops and restaurants."
