“Parking was perfect! I parked right outside the hotel. There was great things around but I did not have time to enjoy. Just there for a quick night of sleep and had to get back on the road. Great stay! Will be back!”

“We stayed for the weekend and mostly had a great experience. We took the Don not disturb sign down when we left in the morning, and our room was not cleaned and we had to get fresh towels ourselves in the evening. The front desk staff on the weekend seemed stressed. Everyone was very nice though.”

“Spacious king suite with nice furnishings. The hotel staff and valet are super nice. We were able to walk to the art museum and the park which is just across the street. I would return again after the renovations and when the restaurant is reopened.”

“This is the perfect place to stay if you or anyone in your family is having surgery or any kind of stay in the UAB Hospital. It’s joined to the hospital and uses the hospital parking deck for your overnight stay. We didn’t eat at the Bistro located inside the hotel but is a convenient place for a quick bite. There’s plenty of places to eat after you go up to the 2nd flour and walk over the skywalk to the inside of the hospital . Beds were good and it’s a very clean hotel. Enjoyed our stay.”

“Disheartening experience. I rarely leave reviews, good or bad. If I take the time to write one, it means the experience was either exceptional or extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, this stay fell into the latter category. Upon arrival at SpringHill Suites in Birmingham, Alabama, we immediately noticed cleanliness issues. There was a used panty liner in the trash can in our room, which was very unsettling. The welcome screen on the television was still displaying another guest’s name, which……

“This hotel earns 2 stars solely because the bed was comfortable and the front desk staff was courteous. Everything else about this stay was unacceptable. Both house phones in the room were broken. Two “clean” towels had visible hair on them. The property is outdated and poorly maintained. What truly pushed this stay into unacceptable territory was housekeeping’s handling of a basic request. After discovering the dirty towels, I asked for replacements. Housekeeping delivered them without……
