We had 4 adults (two couples) and we really enjoyed our stay. It was clean and had all the amenities you need. The dollar general was a two minute drive so that too was super convenient. If we go back would definitely book again.

Quick wedding weekend

We booked The Last Mohican when a friend scheduled her wedding in South Fork. The place was perfect, right on the river. Peaceful spot to get ready for all the hubbub of the party and also relax afterwards.

Condo is nestled next to the Rio Grande which provides an opportunity for endless fun. Property gives you the comforts of home while you are away with a stocked kitchen, comfy couch and chairs in living room will help you relax after a day full of fun. Check in was easy with pad key entry. The air was stale upon entry so we quickly opened windows to ventilate. Not all windows had screens (including one of the bedrooms) and some were in disrepair which let a lot of bugs in. Kitchen had a lot but toaster was broken and the sink leaks so the owners have placed a bucket underneath to catch all the dirty water and collect it under the sink. The aroma caused one of us to vomit and I had to dump it outside. The dining room lamp/fan has to be turned on/off by climbing on the table bench to reach it. Bathroom worked, WiFi was great and the view of the river was the highlight during 4th of July fireworks.

Most of the condo was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. However, dust /dirt in places and unsure which kitchen items for cooking, eating were clean unless in their storage places. For example, dishes on the table. We had no idea how long they were sitting there. Also, I would suggest an option for real dispenser soap along with the antibacterial. If we ever came back to South Fork, we would stay here again. Thank you to Beau Meyer.

We enjoyed our stay, the unit is as described. It’s a good size and in good condition. The best part was the balcony and view. Improvements would only be, more blankets, a plug for the tub for baths, mounting the TV so guests could enjoy the fireplace, more comfortable mattress, and new ice trays. Very minor items. Over all a very nice place at a great price.

We very much enjoyed our stay! Very surprised at how big it was, as the pictures made it appear much smaller. Just a couple of little things to consider - rugs are very slippery and the rug under the dining room table was definitely a tripping hazard- just probably needs to be straightened/flattened out more.TV was a little hard to set up since you have to sign into all of your own streaming services. Overall, very nice place to stay!

Great property. Sitting on the deck over looking the river was great. Would recommend updating the fixtures in bathroom. When showering, if someone in another unit turns on water, shower goes down to a trickle. New frying pans in kitchen is recommended, the anti stick coating is scratched and flaking. Overall, very comfortable, quick access to town, etc.

Wonderful stay

We truly enjoyed our stay in South Fork in our cabin. The living room is more than spacious with a cozy gas fireplace and a large TV. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen with the supplied pots and pans and the gas stove was so nice to have. The entire unit was clean upon arrival. We'd definitely stay here again in the future.
