Alaro base

Overall a good base to explore this beautiful island. Just remember the road can be very narrow. For an exciting drive take the M11a!! Only comment on accommodation is the hot water, takes over 5 minutes to come alive then runs cold after a few moments then heats up again !! 😀

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Allaro

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Allaro qui est un bon camp de base pour sillonner toute l'île. La terrasse est très agréable pour le petit déjeuner (et pour les autres repas aussi d'ailleurs). La maison est sombre mais elle doit être un havre de fraîcheur en plein été. Nous recommandons cette location.

Traditional Spanish house with plenty of room and a lovely patio.

Summary: Traditional Spanish house with plenty of room and a lovely patio. I liked: nice large property within easy walk of the local town with many bars and resteraunts. I did not like: no welcome pack on arrival so we relied on a local restaurant for sustinance. Hot water was a bit hap hazard.

Lovely house just a short walk away from quaint town with restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets. House is spacious and comfortably furnished. The kitchen was small and adequately resourced. Outside terrace was lovely althought the midges were not great. Parking in the road outside did not cause us any issues. Great walks from the house up into the mountains.

“Great house in a beautiful city. Very nice location for climbers like us. We had some problems with the hot water which kept going from hot to cold while showering, but this was fixed immediately when I made the hosts aware of the problem. The air conditioners in all rooms where nice to have when the nights got cold. Great place for a group of three to four!”

Bien situé et bien équipé

Le logement est bien situé au calme en bordure de la petite ville d'Alaro. La localisation est centrale pour visiter Majorque. La décoration du logement est typique. Il y a un 2e WC à l'étage, bien pratique quand on est 4 Il faisait un peu frais début avril et le logement manque de chauffage au rez-de-chaussée

Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Wir waren im April 2019 in dem schönen Haus. Das Haus liegt in den schönen Ort Alaró und ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Wie in Mallorca üblich geben die Fenster nur bedingt Licht in die Räume. Das ist im April wenn man nur manchmal draußen sitzen kann für deutsche Verhältnisse gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das Haus selbst ist klasse. Schöne Räumlichkeiten im alten Stil gehalten. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden, die Terrasse vor dem Haus ist außergewöhnlich schön. Im Sommer hat man Schatten und Sonne (was man halt gerne möchte). Zwei schöne Schlafzimmer oben, so dass man von den anderen im Wohnzimmer nicht gestört wird. WLAN ist top. Küche ist vollkommen ausreichend. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit hier!

Alaro ist sehr nah an der Autobahn gelegen und somit ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und Wanderungen. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und urig eingerichtet. Das beste ist der Innenhof und die sich anschließende Terrasse. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit hier!
