Great stay in Poconos

Very good house for a ski trip to camelback. Property manager was very responsive. The only suggestion I would have is to add beach towels/additional towels for usage with the hot tub. Otherwise, it is a terrific rental property

Perfect for families

Great house with a perfect layout for families. Loved the fireplaces, hot tub, video game and pool table! Will definitely return!

Great Getaway!!!

House was very clean and everything was in great working order. This house was perfect for our family of 11. We cooked all of our meals at this house-grill and stove were so clean and worked perfectly. Fireplaces worked great and added so much ambience. Loved the hot tub after snow boarding, loved the arcade game and pool table. Walked to the beach a few times very peaceful. Bathrooms were very clean and so were the sheets, towels and blankets. All pots, pans and dishes were like new. We had a great trip and really enjoyed this home!

Thanksgiving getaway

Our family of 11 people from 17 to 77, had a great time celebrating Thanksgiving in the Poconos. There were plenty of amenities to keep all entertained. From the hot tub, to the pool table and someone even threw in an inch of snow. Way to go!

Family Stay

The home was advertised to sleep 16: however, pillows and blankets were not provided for 16 people. There was damage to the ceiling and the carpets were old. We thought the property was lakefront. The checkin/checkout process was easy and our questions were responded to immediately, which we appreciated. The hot tub was a nice addition as was the video game and pool table. The lake was closed off, which was a shame for the kids who had hoped to swim on the beach.

Well out together

This place was very nice and spacious. The only issue I had was that it was very hot in the bedrooms except for the bedroom upstairs with the AC unit in it. Other then that I recommend you stay here for a nice stay.

However the furniture and the house on the pics looks like brand new, when you get to the house it's actually really old. Some mattresses had rips, when you move the beds there is dirt old wrappers (cleaning company doesn't do a great job). The house is great, location etc. but the house furniture etc is old!

Fall weekend family and friends reunion

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had booked this place for the weekend of Oct 5th 2018 to Oct 8th 2018 for 3 days. Four families stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days. Very spacious and cozy house. We all really liked it. We were 8 adults and 7 kids. Not only we had lots of space we still had room for couple of more people. I wish there a little more privacy in front of the house as it's too open and close to the main road but overall a fantastic place to spend a weekend with family! Btw, the rental company was really great to work with. Patrice was really really helpful and accomodative. A big thanks for her!

Great House - Bring EVERYTHING!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was very clean and had plenty of room and things to keep us entertained. The basement was the best part of the house with a pool table, video arcade and a tv where we were able to set up karaoke that we brought. The only issue I had was that there is hardly anything in the house. We had to bring everything from toilet paper, garbage bags to our own sharp knives and cutting boards. We were totally prepared to do so, however they didn't even have salt or sugar so we ended up having to buy spices which I have never experienced. I have used this site to stay everywhere from NY to Hawaii and this was the least stocked house that I've ever rented. For the cost, I would expect a spice rack. Other than that, I would highly recommend this property for a family with children or for adults who just wanted to relax.

Awesome Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Six of us stayed at Black Bear chalet. The snow covered ground and deer coming right in the yard was beautiful! The cabin actually is better looking in person and even though we planned on a bigger group of people we would have still had more than enough space. We were pretty close to Big Boulder for skiing and a few good restaurants. The kitchen was updated since pics. We took advantage of the hot tub and games. the only complaint is that the lower level got pretty cold but it was also like 10 degrees out during the night we were there.

Great Mini Vacation fo 4 Families

Had a great stay at Black Bear. There was 8" of the snow the day we arrived. When we pulled up the driveway was plowed and the steps and deck were shoveled. 8 adults and 7 kids all had a bed a to sleep in and plenty of room in the house so we were not on top of one another. Kids had first floor with game room and the adults had the second floor to hang out on. House was clean, gas grill fired up with an extra tank on hand. Hot tub was clean and working as well. All in all we had a blast. Would definitely recommend for families with younger kids.
