"Close to Carleton University so we always stay here for a night when we visit our son. The place is decent, clean, and price is reasonable. Lots of parking and has parking for a trailer which is great for when we travel with a trailer to haul our son's stuff in and out of his camous residence."

"The hotel was clean and the housekeeping staff are great. The front desk staff were also very good, especially Sherry who helped us with some restaurant suggestions and was very friendly. The cafe for breakfast was also good for a medium sized meal. The care is open for dinner too but we did not try it this time. It’s an older hotel but it is in great shape and well maintained. EV. Charging lvl 2 is also good. Overall, a very good value hotel. Not high end but certainly clean and functional....

"The Ramada on the Rideau is a hidden gem. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is conveniently near to major sites in Ottawa. The proximity to the Rideau and the canoe and kayak rentals was a major plus. We stayed there to attend a family funeral and the staff was very considerate and kind. Special thanks to Kiran and Mary Ann for their kindness during our difficult time. "

The staff are so friendly and accommodating, the rooms are so clean and the beds are really comfortable, with lots of different-sized pillows to choose from.
