"The staff was very friendly, rooms and common areas were very clean. Love that they have a hotel dog (wish we could have seen him!). Thank you for a great stay, we greatly enjoyed Ottawa and the Chateau Laurier! "

"The rooms ok but the matress is finish need replacement . Cleanliness is deficient.The ground-floor restroom, corridor, and elevator were filthy; cleaning the doors, handles, and windows would be essential. It seems to be a shelter for immigrants or immigrant families in difficulty. I'm not against immigrants, but cleanliness in a hotel is paramount."

"Be ready to walk a bit, first from the parking to the reception, then from reception to the room. Although shopping was nearby, the walk was back to reception, then around the building to the shopping centre. If you see something missing, ask. The staff are very polite but don't offer. Oddly, they have equipment like irons but they don't keep track of the room where the iron is so there is a good chance they won't be able to find one for you."
