“The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff. The occasion was a large family reunion, and the restaurant served us all with a good simple dinner in an efficient and timely way. Service was excellent. The location opposite the beach is delightful and quite quiet - and very convenient for the West……

“What a hidden gem The Annex, Rose Cottage is. Perfectly situated if you want a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of life! Nancy & Paddy are very welcoming hosts on hand to offer local knowledge on the best pubs to visit, walks to take or supply any small thing you may have forgotten. The cottage is beautifully presented , warm and clean with a very comfortable sofa and bed. “Nice country pub room was clean and comfortable with ensuite. Staff are great and the pub has a nice relaxed feel with a bar area used by the locals (Friendly) with everything you want from a country pub. Restaurant area separate from the pub with a good varied menu.the food I had was great and good value for money. I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area.”
