My husband and I spent a part of our honeymoon at Vale Do Lobo. We really enjoyed the accommodations. We had a private apartment with a pool, which was lovely. We enjoyed the on-site restaurants, golf, and the pool area. We even went to the beach one day.
The accommodations were great! They provided us with espresso for the Nespresso machine. Gave us a loaf of bread and a bottle of wine. We had everything we could need at the apartment.

Great Luxury Resort. We loved free Shuttle Service around the property. Food and drink were good but the price was on the expense side. My son played golf at the resort and he said it was an amazing golf course. Villa was wonderful with a lot all amenities needed including a washing machine. Overall we had a great stay.

Clean apartment, great facilities on site. Its a good base to visit.
Unfortunately the spa heated pool is undergoing renovation so you either have to use the unheated pool by the beach, or pay 12 euros each per day to use the heated outdoor pool at the tennis club.

We booked a standard apartment on arrival we were so disappointed. The room was basic but ok but the toilet was disgusting mould on tiles all the grout was dirty. The sealant around bath was disgusting
We reported this the next morning Saturday by phone and email. They advised us there would be no alternative accommodation until Monday but at a cost 300 Euro for 4 nights to move. we payed this as the bathroom was disgusting
we will follow this up with a formal complaint to the resort

Great stay at the Vale de Lobo resort - staff could not have been more helpful. A few hiccups with dated air con and a safe which didn’t lock but they sent out maintenance quickly both days. Excellent resort - pool great. Could do with upgraded sun loungers and updated air con but all in all, an excellent stay. Shuttle around the resort very convenient and all staff at the restaurants very kind and friendly. The Praca area was a safe area for kids and the resort itself is immaculate.

The resort was lovely. We booked last minute and had a nice one bedroom with a patio. They had bread, butter and jam ready. The staff was extremely helpful and I felt like was at another World Class Resort.
My only comment is our room seemed dated and use an upgrade or be refurbished. However, it was a great resort and I would highly recommend staying there next time you are in Faro area.
