“The fire alarm went off three times in the middle of the night, the alarm was faulty. No restaurant, but we paid top prices for sub par food on paper plates 😬. Waterside was out of order. Not a pleasant stay!”

“Room 210 has a light outside the bedroom window that shines all night which is annoying! Our room was warm and we had the window open for air and cooling. The small fan for not adequately cool the room. The fire pit was below our room and the gang was there talking until 10pm. We were exhausted from driving all day and wanted to rest. We did not sleep well. It’s a great location but needs a little makeover. Very outdated.”

“Felt similar to staying in a dorm room. No decorations hardly. Blank slate room. Bathroom heater didn’t work. Cob webs in corners. Hot water intermittent. Front desk was very nice though. ”

“This was our second time to stay at Teller House. We came to Silverton in December and fell in love and came back to get married. We stayed at Teller House for 4 days . It’s absolutely perfect for us. Know there are no TVs in the rooms (perfect!) there is no AC ( no bother to us ) and the rooms are all in the upstairs of this “house”. Please be mindful when checking into your room , especially if you are checking in late. People can hear you if are loud. Rooms are kept very clean while you stay……

“My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The room was not properly maintained and appeared neglected. There were spider webs in the room, weeds surrounding the building, and the room itself was located outside the main hotel premises, which felt inconvenient and unsafe. The cleanliness was unacceptable. The bed sheets were dirty, and the pillows did not even have pillow covers. In addition, the toilet seat was broken, making the bathroom uncomfortable to use.
