“The accommodations were very clean, and the owners provided everything that we needed, would definitely stay there again!! Five stars all the way around for this vacation stay! Thanks so much for everything!”

“It’s a very cute old farm house nestled in a peach orchard! Rolling hills with a porch swing that overlooks the orchards and a pond. The hosts provide all of the essential's for a comfortable stay! Communication is wonderful from beginning to the end! Would stay here again and again!”

“Very clean and absolutely beautiful property. We came for 3 nights for my birthday and it was an absolutely stunning property. The home was very comfortable and stocked with what we needed, our fur baby loved the large open space and privacy to run around in. The Pomona Natural bridge is super close and beautiful, as well as the cross of peace which is absolutely amazing views. We will definitely be coming back.”

“Amazing place to stay. Excellent location, beautiful rooms and accommodation and the host was so responsive. We will definitely be back!”

“Easy check-in process and super convenient location to SIU, Carbondale, and the wine trail. Ample space and 2-car garage made it perfect for a group.Only room for improvement would be having central air or cooling options in the bedrooms.Overall great stay”

“Kayla provided us a cozy, clean, and recently updated home to stay in for our week long vacation! The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and appliances, air conditioning was adequate during the heat wave, and the washer and dryer came in handy for our swimming and hiking days! The few repairs that needed to be done were made quickly and professionally as soon as I let her know of them. I would recommend this Vrbo again!”

“Cool renovated property that keeps that old fashioned charm. Spacious living with all the amenities you need for a vacation stay.”

“Our family loved our stay at Pa’s house! First time pulling into the Pa’s house property we knew it would be a great stay. The location worked perfect for our hiking adventures, most places were only a 20 min drive away. Several wineries were right down the road. You’re outside of town but can make a quick grocery run if needed. The work done inside and out of this old farm home was wonderfully done. We stayed there with 2 adults and 3 kids and there was everything you need for a weekend trip of……

“Nice place. We cooked meals inside on the stove but also over a fire at the fire pit. There is a small creek behind the cabin that runs when it rains out. That was pretty cool. No nearby light pollution so the sky is really dark at night and you can see a lot of stars. Overall a great experience. Two wineries close by. It's on the wine trail. Close to everything in Southern Illinois. We went to all the state parks.”

“Place overall was decent, it was clean enough. The hot tub and fire pit were a nice touch. The house is very close to the road and there is constant traffic noise even late at night. It is also advertised as more upscale than it was. We noticed several areas of the house that looked like the landlord special took place in getting it ready. Some of the doors didn’t close properly or were only on a single set of hinges instead of multiple. The dining chairs too were not in great shape, they had……

“I would highly recommend this charming Victorian house. The town is so friendly and Dana goes out of her way to make sure you enjoy your stay.”

“Loved my stay here! The attention to details is appreciated. The shower is amazing! Loved the main area for all to gather. Walking distance to The Iron Whisk and Fuzzy’s Bar is great. I didn’t love that it’s close to train tracks and that you can’t adjust your own thermostat.”

“Awesome stay! We recommend!”

“Everything was clean and new! We used the hot tub every night and appreciated the coffee machine! Really classy place! Access to attractions was key, and we enjoyed the neighboring restaurant (only open Thurs-Sunday) but we were less than 10 minutes from Anna for dining, and there was a great Tavern and gas station, and Dollar General less than a 1/4 block away. Highly recommended.”

“We throughly enjoyed the accommodations and plan I. Returning! Checking in was easy, and they worked with us on an earlier check in. Checking out process was very smooth and easy. We can’t wait to book our next trip.”

“We stayed for a family get away meeting our granddaughter & her husband for a couple of days. The space was perfect. Location was great. Communication from the host was top notch! We used the fire pit & hot tub every night. I would recommend this property! Loved the backyard view!”

“Overall, it was a good experience. The pond and zip line was very fun! Loved that it was a private pond and area for a large group. We celebrated my daughter's birthday and it was the perfect spot for her to have a sleepover with friends. However, some of the things on the listing were not as advertised. The pinball machines seemed to not be in working order and the foosball table did not have the original ball in it and was too small for the players to kick deeming it unplayable. There was also……

“Loved sitting under the big shade trees! The house is like a maze. So fun to discover all the rooms and loved playing the old organ in the sitting room. Reverse osmosis water filter was great to have for fresh drinking water.”

“Was worth the amount I was charged. The owner was very nice and accommodating. I had one minor issue but was resolved in a matter of minutes. They were very fast in responding to me. Would definitely recommend and I will be staying any time I go back to Cape Girardeau ”
