「For the most part this property was exactly as expected. However when we landed in Chicago we received a phone call from the owner stating that the master bathroom shower was no longer usable due to a hole in the tub and that we could still use the toilet and sink as a half bath. This wouldn’t have been a problem but we needed the whole bathroom there was 8 of us staying in the house with only 1 full bathroom and when you’re all trying to get ready that is a nightmare. It would have been easier...

「This is a gem. We needed a few days away from home and this was perfect. There are many things to do at the property for all ages, hiking, scavenger hunt, exploring the creek, a fire pit, many DVDS and books, a well stocked pond for fishing. The towns around have many things to do Also, we especially liked the tour of the lock and dam. We would give a ten if we could!」

「It looked just like the photos. Loved the backyard. The beds were extremely comfortable as was the bedding. The living room was very comfy. The whole setup was very charming. And she had a lot of little extras. Very thoughtful extras. Like spices, olive oil etc in the kitchen. She also had dog food and water bowls. A specific dog towel, poop bags, a leash and also a chuck-it to play fetch. She was extremely accessible and responsive. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. 」
