"Great stay! The hotel is in an amazing location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant onsite is great. We enjoyed the free coffee and the gym is nice. The room was clean and enjoyable. The bed was a little soft but over all great. Our river view room was amazing. We will definitely be back."

"Nice older historic property. It is a good place to stay. The settee, or mini couch was not comfortable. I bring my coffee setup from home. They only have disposable cups for use. Ask the front desk for bottled water or two. Large room, I think it was an upgrade, thanks."

"Property location is walkable to Grant Park. The hotel is in need of an upgrade but if you can get past that it is very clean and safe. Our room faced the front and even though on the 12th floor you could hear the train all night long. The curtain in the room did not completely cover the window so there was a shaft of light coming in all night. Hotels were sold out and there was no other place in our budget to check in to; and restaurants were packed. There was a major trade show in town."

"The Wade is in a great location with beautiful views of the lake. Staff were friendly and helpful. Warning: ask to NOT be in a room ending in 02 because it will put you right next to the elevators which run constantly all night and are loud. Also the ice machines do not work on every floor. If you need parking. You may want to consider park offsite using the SpotHero app for less money than valet at the hotel. I would stay here again."
