Our stay was mixed. Our bed was very comfortable although one hears the noise at night from the pub. The room was clean and well equipped but the shower was not great. Water pressure very low and so so hot water. Perhaps most disappointing was the breakfast. It starts at 9am which is quite late. One morning we missed altogether because we had to be up and out before then (and no offer to give boxed provisions). The next morning we got to breakfast at 9am sharp and by 940am we were still not served. We had an appointment at 10am so when the meal did arrive it was a less than optimal experience. And no offers to refill our hot drinks. Staff were not unfriendly but were far from welcoming. I would not return and would choose another spot in a lovely area.

Disappointment
Nice area and rooms are nice clean and modern but thats about as good as its gets. Shower is terrible, takes forever to get warm and its a mere trickle. Unfortunately i didnt find the bed and pillows very comfortable but that coukd just be my personal view. The most disappointing is breakfast is not available till 9am which does not work for business trips where you have to leave early but they do leave a tray outside your room which contains a more continental breakfast but its not exactly the hot breakfast we expected at the time we book. I wont return Unfortunately.

Overnight stay
The room was comfortable and the decor was pleasant. However, the walls were thin as on occasion we could hear the adjacent guests. The evening meal wait time was a little long, portion size of chips could have been bigger and inside of cumberland sausage was pink so a little offputting (although chef reassured that colour was normal). On the whole, we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was delicious and we were pleased to be able to bring our dog along. Nice garden area. Thank you.

Loved this place.
Loved it. Quick and friendly check in. Lovely room. Lovely bathroom (although the shampoo dispenser didn't work - wasn't bothered, I had my own. Had to leave in the morning early before breakfast was served so a continental breakfast was left outside my room...it was brilliant.
