"At first I was not impressed because a photo of the exterior was not shown on the Expedia page, only interior photos, which looked OK. In reality, the place looks like a motel on the outside and is not a lodge. The breakfast room's interior does have lodge-like looks, however, and everything was clean, even though the handle on the toaster was missing so only half of it worked. But we were able to get a waffle breakfast and sausages and a bagel with cream cheese. The pool is fine. Staff were helpful and polite. My husband started talking with some of the other guests and they got much cheaper rates than what we paid, even though we thought we had some sort of Expedia deal. So we probably paid too much for the quality of accommodations but it was acceptable."

"The hotel was conveniently located to walk into the restaurant and shopping hub of Cle Elum and just 3 miles to Roslyn through the beautiful forest. There is the Coal Mine Trail a block away that made for a nice mule in and mile back in the evening. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was adequate."

"Beautiful, well appointed and spacious home. Excellent communication with host. Lovely location on the Prospector course. Enjoyed sauna, cold pool, hot tub, game garage and fire pit and cooked our hearts out in the kitchen and on the grill. Daily visits from deer and wild turkeys. A lovely stay with ample room four our family group of 14 spanning from age 16 to 84 years."

"What a fantastic stay we had at Iron Horse Inn! The owners Leanne and Matt were incredible - starting before we even arrived. Following some car trouble, Leanne waited for us to arrive and greeted us warmly. The property is beautiful, well maintained and homely. The bedroom was really comfortable and we woke up well rested and ready for the day! The breakfast was incredible, and we enjoyed our conversation with Matt about the local area and it's history. We loved staying here, and would highly recommend to anyone considering! The hospitality and kindness we experienced was second to none - thank you!"
