Staff and location were amazing. I would not recommend staying if you are physical unable to carry your bags up flights of narrow stairs but that was the only downfall.

We had a larger room for a family of 4 (including 2 teenagers) and it was beautifully furnished and designed. The breakfast was a great start to our day. We appreciated the AC during the hot weather and the complimentary refreshing water at the front desk. The location was convenient and easily walkable to the main sights in central Amsterdam and the train station.

Great location, steps away from Rokin metro station and 25 mins or less walking from central Amsterdam, museums and flower market. Lots of choices for shopping and restaurants all around. Hotel also offers a discount for canal boat tours which are across the street. I booked the Standard Single Room for myself. Though small, I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort, bathroom and was quiet at night. Also chose the option with breakfast which was simple and useful in the morning. Hotel is beautifully decorated and also has a comfortable lounge area next to their gift shop. Staff very friendly and if I had any questions they were helpful. I would recommend this hotel for those staying in Amsterdam for a few days.

Pros: Very welcoming staff, gorgeous room, great location, comfortable beds, food/drink on site, free breakfast Cons: No elevator, steep stairs, no air conditioning although to be fair we were there during the current record heatwave and were provided fans. This hotel was also in the process of having AC installed in its rooms so we would definitely stay here again.
