Helpful staff

Restaurant staff were fantastically accommodating. They only offered buffet for breakfast but one of our companions were slightly under the weather and only wanted something simple. So they offered for us to grab a complimentary pastry and coffee for her. Very appreciative of their willingness to accommodate unprompted.

Nice place for Amsterdam short trip

距離阿姆斯特丹中央車站走路10分鐘，很方便，房間大小也很舒適，兩個大的行李廂可以輕鬆打開取物。

Wir waren mit dem Auto nur 3 Tage in Amsterdam und mit dem Hotel und dessen Lage sehr zufrieden. Hervorragend war das Parkhaus "Interparking" direkt gegenüber. Besser geht es fast nicht. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 12 Stock mit toller Aussicht. Die Zimmer waren groß, geräumig und sehr sauber. Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt war das Frühstück. Es gab zwar eine gute Auswahl, jedoch waren Tassen und Teller tlw. vergriffen. Auch bei den Speisen und Getränken wurde nur spärlich nachgefüllt. Besser wäre auch ein 2. Kaffeeautomat gewesen, damit man nicht zu lange anstehen muss. Das Personal war nett und freundlich, jedoch konnte man den Eindruck haben, dass der ein oder andere Mitarbeiter(in) nicht ganz mit dem Herzen bei der Arbeit war. Dennoch kann man sagen, alles in allem ein tolles Hotel.

The location is great, and the hotel room was of good size and offers a good view. We would recommend this hotel if you prefer staying close to the Central Station. The breakfast buffet was good but there were flies in the food area.

A short walk from Central Station finds you at Roommate Aitana offering a very quiet, spacious and comfortable rooms with great views. If you value a good nights sleep and don’t mind walking then it’s a great choice.

Always come back to this hotel as it’s lovely. Everywhere is clean. Staff on the desk are very friendly and welcoming and will happily come back again. Only reason it is not a 5 this time around is the fact that the housekeeping staff continuously kept trying to come into our room to clean it despite us having the do not disturb sign on which made us feel uncomfortable as felt a disregard for privacy. Informed the staff at the desk who apologised. Hopefully if we stay again this doesn’t happen but apart from this always a lovely place.

The restaurant is more likely a bar with maybe 5 available expensive snacks, this does not match to a hotel of this category. There were some hair on the walls of the bath we saw the whole stay. There's a bus connection to Centraal, but especially in the evening there's a huge traffic jam which results in no bus arriving, so take good shoes with you, you'll have to walk quite a lot.

Avoid!!! If you don’t want your items being stolen I liked the hotel and in general the receptionist were great, until I had my money stolen from my suitcase. I always use the hotel safe but in a rush i had left some money in my suitcase. Contacted the management and i was told that they would investigate, let’s be honest who is going to own up? I received an email after they “investigated” and said they found no issue with their process, procedures and house keeping etc. Very disappointed. I have never had this issue before, it made me feel really crap for the rest of my holiday hence the one star

The servicing of the room was lacking, often. We did not have enough towels nor toilet paper from routine service, we had to request these items each day after our room was cleaned. I realize coming from the US we expect air conditioning to be better, but we could not get our room below 75°F. We were just told that that is how things are at that particular hotel.
