「One has to remember that you’re on a boat and not in a hotel room but sitting out on deck in the evening with snacks and a drink can’t be beat. Great location and host!」

「Great overall experience. It is situated in a calm area but close to all you could want to do as a tourist. We walked everywhere. Sitting on the deck for coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening is great - you get see the boats and also the cute ducks. The bed and sofa are very comfortable. Very clean and all we needed was provided. A little tricky to get on and off with luggage but on arrival we did get help. Something to consider if you have mobility issues.」

「Was able to store luggage before check in time although host did not answer phone when I called before as agreed. Check in was smooth later. Shops and restaurants are nearby(less than 10 min walking). I would recommend putting in a dehumidifier since the boat was humid and made it feel cooler than it was. Bathroom with sink is awkward since sink is 1/2 way under an overhang of the deck so difficult to brush teeth and was face without getting water all over the floor. Would recommend installing...

「This houseboat is not fancy - but it is as comfortable as being at a friend's cabin - we didn't want to leave. We had not stayed in Amsterdam before, so wanted our first few nights to be something unique. The boat was perfect! It was close walking to everything, yet it was quiet and relaxing once inside.
