The hotel is really convenient for disney. The rooms are nice and clean and the lobby and staff are great. The hotel's restaurant also makes a great cup of coffee- which is absolutely needed to tackle Disney!

Arrived at 10am to check our bags and park our car as we were going to Disneyland. Returned around 11pm to find out that the room with a king bed was no longer available. Was told that they'd give us two Queen size beds. Room actually had 2 full size beds. I'm 6'2" and my girlfriend is 5'7". Called the front desk and complained about the room. Was told they were "California Queen", unbeknownst to the front desk i worked in furniture for 20 years and these were 100% full size beds. Didn't appreciate being lied to. Maybe he thought "industry jargon" was enough? Stay elsewhere.

Wish I could of gave this hotel 5 stars but unfortunately the lack of communication regarding non functional pool takes that away with also in a terrible location far from the park and also room floors were filthy and ac was super loud and also beds were very uncomfortable and showers were terrible

NOT AS ADVERTISED! Pool is closed for the season as of March 2026, room was not cleaned from prior guest upon my arrival, you have to request daily cleaning if you want fresh towels (had to request multiple times because it wasn’t done), over half of the parking lot was closed without notification making it incredibly hard to park, parking prices have increased without communication & our bathroom floor would get soaked every time used because the curtain wasn’t properly fitted.

You can hear everything threw the walls. We had a very unpleasant stay, some teenagers screaming there lungs out and using profanity language all night! We didn’t sleep much. Hotel needs to be updated a bit. Pool was closed.

Clean and friendly. Quite close to the freeway so there was highway noise but it's also tucked away - apart from the busiest places. The restaurant has a very limited menu but food was good.

The hotel was okay, we expected there to be free breakfast like it said on the website but there was no free breakfast, the parking fee was higher than what it said it was on the website, and the transportation to get to Disneyland wasn’t the greatest. We didn’t know we had to pay for transportation to the parks. And there were so many stops on the way to Disney and they took a very long time picking us up after. So we decided to drive to California adventures ourselves even though that’s why we picked the hotel so we wouldn’t have to pay for parking. The rooms were okay I liked how they did not have carpeted floors but they definitely need to improve in detail cleaning. There was a lot of stains and marks along the walls and furniture. The staff was nice be we barely interacted with them.

This was my second time staying at the sonesta Anaheim Resort Area Hotel and all I can say I love it they are amazing nothing but helpful just about a 25min walk to Disneyland the rooms are amazing the both times I stayed there and the staff very friendly and helpful. Overall the hotel is amazing
