I rented this property months ago for a Spring Break ski trip with my grandchildren. We arrived in Angel Fire to find that the code to the keyless entry we were provided did not work and the key in lockbox was missing. I contacted the owner as specified in the instructions. She stated she would call me back...that did not occur that date and has not to this date (5 days later). I did receive a call from the rental management company (Evolve) and an email stating they had double booked, were issuing a refund and to call if I needed them to assist in finding another place. I was not impressed with how they handled this situation so I told them I would locate my own place to stay. I use VRBO when I travel often and have never had an issue such as this. I am as well confused as to why the rental management company switched to Evolve...I will never use them!!!!! I as well have never had an issue with any owners in the past and typically rate them very high! Esmeralda, the owner of a condo within the Gold Dust Condos in Angel Fire (I am not allowed to apparently specify the unit number that I rented) is subpar and I don’t believe even deserves 1 star at this point. The good news...we went onto Colorado...found incredible lodging and the grandchildren had a blast!
