New Furnishings and Clean

Everything was tastefully decorated with what appeared to be new furnishings. Very clean. Extra pillows on beds. Host was way cool with early checkin and responded immediately to questions. Can't beat the location perhaps 3 minute walk to the Big House.

Professionally maintained property. Very clean, supplies for things like laundry pods were full on arrival. Easy checkin and checkout. Two main beds were comfortable. Modern appliances. Extremely reasonable rates during the Football off season. Nice TV with amazon fire. Modern laundry.Property is very near to football stadium, literal walking distance. Within 5minutes drive to Lawton school, fairly near to Dicken and downtown Ann Arbor.One thing to note,it is on a main road so it will not be super quiet at night and if you dont trust small kids near a street you might not like it as much.

Fun at the Big House

We were in town for a long weekend, visiting relatives who were throwing a party at the Big House for my brother in law’s (a UMichigan professor) retirement . We walked to the retirement party and were just amazed at the stadium. Could almost imagine being there for a game!

Underwhelming

This property is not exactly as it appears on the listing. It’s amazing what a wide angle lens can do to make a space feel more spacious than it actually is. To the owners credit, the check-in process was easy, and we found the property to be quite clean. However, what’s not indicated in the listing is that the house sits on at one of the major streets in Ann Arbor, and the main bedroom it is only a few feet away from that street. As a result the road noise at night is quite unsettling. Additionally, the air conditioning unit in our unit did not work well, which forced us to open a window at night. Normally that wouldn’t be an issue, but with the road noise noted previously, it made for a restless night. I would note that I raised this issue with the property manager, and they replied very quickly and told us to turn off the air conditioner as it might it frozen up. Did not have a chance to see if this worked, but clearly the AC does not work as advertised. Finally, I would say that this property lacks any curb appeal whatsoever. Perhaps that’s not an issue for the next renter, but for me and my family, it certainly didn’t feel like we were checking into a place that justified the high cost we paid: broken concrete stoop, old door needs painting, large tree obscuring front door. Place looks rundown, which is why they don’t have any pictures of the front on their website. Again, it was easy working with the management company, I just don’t think you get a lot for what you pay for.

Big House Property

While we weren't in Ann Arbor for the game, this property is just steps from Michigan Stadium. Perfect for football Saturdays. Easy parking, spacious, nicely appointed kitchen, big bedrooms. If you are looking for charm and ambience, this unit is not for you, but checks all the boxes otherwise.

Football weekend

This property was a perfect location for my 78 year old parents to enjoy the football game as it was a block from the stadium( easy walk). Had everything we needed to be comfortable.

The apartment is fine

Overall the apartment is fine. The location is convenient to wherever in Ann Arbor. Unfortunately, the dishwasher was broken when we checked in. If the cleaning crew did the dishes, they will find out the dishwasher was broken! Otherwise it was fine!
