Was not clean, very old and outdated and smells like smoke. Very loud and hard to sleep. Breakfast was honey buns and coffee and bananas with old powdered creamer packs. No ice and vending machines did t work and were fully stocked. Only good thing was close to the Michigan Stadium. At least staff nice

I did like my experience, the staff was friendly, they had a good breakfast. It's basically what you pay for, very affordable the rooms were clean, it was a nice little get away and a time to relax and I honestly liked that they had a good TV selection, Wi-Fi and air conditioning. They also had a balcony so it was convenient instead of having to go all the way to the lobby. I over all give it a 4 star rating, I don't have complaints.

Our room was filthy. I have added photos. The picture of my husband’s fee shows you how dirty floor was. He had taken a shower. Positive about room: beds clean and comfortable, shower head was great because someone had removed the water restrictor. Staff: you had to go upfront and get towels. None were in the room. I was given 2 thin bath towels, one wash cloth and one hand towel. I had to ask clerk for additional wash cloth and hand towel. I heard the day front desk staff tell someone staying there that “They could just step back and cool his jets.” The customer wasn’t doing anything but asking for something to be corrected. Breakfast is way worse than a comfort inn. Wasn’t really a breakfast. Breakfast area was a dark and dingy booth. The food was brought over from another hotel. We didn’t eat there.

Check-in was a breeze! The front desk staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was clean but it just felt musty. Disappointed that there was NO coffee available near the front desk 24/7. In the room, the overhead light did not work. Luckily the lamps did work. The A/C worked well. The shower was HOT, had to back it off. The TV was okay but hard to change the channels cuz you have to double tap on the channel change button each time. The bedside tables seemed sticky and not clean. The sliding glass door on the first floor was unable to be locked properly but they have a stick to prop it locked. Did not see any bugs. The towels were clean and nice. There was no hot tub even though I thought for sure hot tub was listed as an amenity. When we asked about that, they said there is a room for rent that has a hot tub. Breakfast was subpar, cereal, Danish, bagels and luckily COFFEE ;-) Just about what I would expect for the price. Would stay here again.

We encountered Isaac, the manager, and found both him and the staff to be very pleasant and accommodating. The air conditioning worked well, and the shower had good water pressure with plenty of hot water. Unfortunately, those were the only positive aspects of our stay. The property is in desperate need of renovation. The furniture and bedding were stained, the furniture had cigarette burn holes, there was food splatter on the walls, cobwebs in the room, and the floors had not been properly swept. Given the condition of the property, the rate we paid felt like blatant price gouging. Unfortunately, we were in town for a concert, and there were no other lodging options available, so we had no choice but to stay. Would not recommend.

We booked this stay because it was close to us dropping off our son at college from out of state. We knew it was not our typical selection but we really needed something close by and cheap.. it would have been better if we slept in the car and washed up in a gas station bathroom. Room had a spray to make it appear to be clean but it was not. Room was VERY DARK with 3 lamps. The patio door DID NOT LOCK. So safety isn’t a concern. Towels for hygiene had human hair all over it. When he checked in the hotel staff said not sure if housekeeping cleaned the room but go and see and let me know! Don’t get me started on the breakfast. Now I know it’s free and typical standard.. bUT they had stale coffee and honey buns!!! That’s IT! When we returned to our room the key cars didn’t work.. walked back to lobby and she needed ID to confirm it was me. But if I’m locked out of the room for the “free” breakfast at 7am most people don’t take thier wallet or ID… it was a mess!!!! Never again. 10/10 don’t ever recommend!!

The room was smaller than I anticipated. The television was on a light switch. Every time I turned on the TV it took about two minutes for it to cycle through trying to connect to the Internet. The room had a smell of cleaning supplies. The breakfast was minimal. I guess I was expecting something hot. I should have read the description at booking? However, the staff were incredibly friendly, outgoing and helpful. They made my stay memorable.
