Great place to land after a work trip!

Stayed here because of the location and building amenities. Although it was just for the night I would recommend for a weekend trip. Although if you need white noise to sleep, bring your own as the apartment is very quiet and you can hear the full-time tenants on the other sides of the walls.

Great apartment in the perfect location

The apartment was as advertised: clean, roomy, modern and comfortable. The communication and check-in was perfect. The location is hard to beat. There are lovely restaurants, bars and activity within easy walking distance. I'd definitely stay again!

Excellent apartment

Very nice, modern apartment, well stocked kitchen, very quiet building and area. Short walk to Ann Arbor restaurants and sights, including football. On-site parking. Owner is very quick to respond. We'd love to stay here again.

Great location in downtown Ann Arbor. Clean, functional place. Despite having step by step directions for check in- it was still tricky due to the parking pass not functioning correctly. Happily, they were super responsive when we called with questions.

Light needs to be improved the apartment is kind of dark We found the towels wet and inside dryer. Some clothes outside Out of that everything was great!

Ann Arbor stay

Check-in was super easy with very clear instructions, as well as Check-Out. Host was attentive and let us know ahead that there was some hot water maintenance going on. The place was very comfortable and spacious for the 3 of us. It was a college visit for our daughter, and an alumni visit for me! I selected this location because I wanted to just walk everywhere. It is close to restaurants, stores, etc. If we are back I would stay again! Go Blue!

Comfy and clean

We loved waking up to seeing the birds in the treetops just outside our window. This unit was in a great spot just above the zen garden. Everything was spotless and comfortable. The only suggestion we would make is to improve the lighting. The low lights in bathroom and living room made it hard to see. We also loved the location-we walked everywhere. Parking was not a problem in the attached deck-only $5 per day.

Great amenities in a perfect location

I don’t have anything negative to say about this property. Everything was rather seamless and easy. The unit itself is well appointed. Quiet. Location is great. Only used one bed, it was very comfortable. I was surprised by the doors only being sliding glass or bifold doors but they work in the space and seemed to dull noise from washer/dryer, etc. Thoughtfully placed outlets/power strips/surge protectors throughout made things much easier. I will definitely look to this property again when I’m in the area. Thanks, Mitten!

No Better than a Hotel

The parking process verges on the ridiculous. In addition, most of the spots are reserved for compact cars, and/or require you to move your car between 3 and 6 AM. I always had to hunt for the few remaining spots - many of which were blocked off with cones. The apt is fine, but the lighting is too dim and the light in my bedroom burned out the second I got there. We were unable to find the exact replacement at the store. I emailed Mitten Housing about these concerns and never got a response. The main contact I got from Mitten was about the rules, how to check in, how to check out, when to check out, how to do dishes, how to dispose of garbage and the extra fees I would be charged if I did not comply The feedback link also noted that many sites do not show reviews with less than 4.5 stars...essentially suggesting that anything other than a 5 star review would be ignored My overall impression is that this is not an owner, but a corporate entity focused on making as much money as possible. I would personally prefer that VRBO note the difference as the hospitality one receives from a real owner is significantly more inviting.

Reunited after 25 years

Perfect setup and location to reunite with college roommates after 25 long years apart!! The condos were comfortable and well appointed. They were located close to downtown shops/restaurants and only 1 mile from the stadium. It set the stage for a memorable weekend.

Overview

This is our third stay at a Mitten property and they do a very good job. This property is part of a larger complex and is well located but could use some additional sprucing around the exterior. The interior was clean and fresh and ready for arrival. Another positive experience with this landlord.
