“Great place to stay in STVI. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Restaurant available for all meals and night activities!! Great view!!! No car, no worries….10 minute walk to downtown for shopping. Take the safari / taxi to Havensight and Red Hook if wanting to go to St. John (20 minute ferry) runs every hour on the hour.”

“The rooms were clean and the staff wonderful. Only thing was the smell in the room a little musty and i am sure it was due to the moist atmosphere but luckly I had Lysol. Bar and food was terrific if you stayed in the Club. The food was amazing whether breakfast, lunchtime/snacks and late afternoon snacks or desserts.”

“Ocean view is misleading property is out of the way on top of a hill.Shuttle and taxis do not want the fare.Sole staff member was fantastic.Rooms are outdated 1960’s .”

“This was a wonderful property! It is definitely an older hotel- but that is the charm! The new owners are clearly taking loving care of it. In that district, everything is older, and it is very well maintained and clean. It is in a PERFECT location to talk to some great places to eat, shop, or get coffee. They helped us by holding our bags since we arrived early, getting our room ready ASAP, and calling a cab when it was time to go to the airport. It was just a wonderful experience and we would……

“We enjoyed our recent stay at Sapphire Beach Resort. The facilities were clean and well kept, the resort staff were very helpful in giving us tips of how to navigate the island, and our host was very responsive when we had an issue with the a/c not cooling properly. This location is a close ride to the Red Hook ferry, and the snorkeling on the little reef was great!”

“The photos are honestly pretty deceiving. This is an extremely noisy and busy property with cruise ship people being constantly bussed in to use the beach. The beach is dirty, smells like cigarettes / marijuana and has trash. There is constant noise of wave runners and loud music. The hotel rooms themselves are clean, but the simple amenities such as the vending machines don’t work. Constant power outages and cold showers. If you are looking to relax and unwind, I would not book this resort. The……

“I love the privacy we had with room and balcony. There is no smoking of any kind on property, but they do have a designated area. Not too many activities unless you travel over to st John's but the stay was great!”
