「Exceptional rooms in a gorgeous hotel, we were able to walk to and from the Aragon Ballroom (about a mile and a half each way). Kind of pricey, especially factoring in tge 65 dollar a day parking. Probably wouldn't stay for an expended amount of time for that reason but a fantastic hotel with a great restaurant and staff.」

「What an absolutely remarkable place! It genuinely feels as though a beautiful piece of historic Italy has been transported into this Chicago neighborhood. The architecture, thoughtfully selected ornate decor, warmth, and attention to detail create an atmosphere that is both elegant and incredibly welcoming. This is not simply a place to stay. It is an experience.
And then there is Gina! Her hospitality is in a class of its own. From preparing a wonderful breakfast to serving homemade banana...BARRY

「Dorothy's is a nice place for people wanting easy access to a clean, SRO-style room in a good location with an invisible staff (online checkin).
Specific complaints: my room lacked both trash can and bedside light.
And the self-serve breakfast provided nice individual portions of yogurt and bags of nuts, but on neither morning was coffee available (happily there are places only blocks away to buy some).
Plus, charging extra for checking in 1-3-hours earlier than the 4pm check-in seems a...Scott

「I love that hotel. No frills but perfect setup for a mixed business and fun trip. Walking distance to Wrigley, restaurants and entertainment and right by the red line station. Will stay there again.」Gary S

「Great location for a night. This particular room had an external bathroom, but was private to us. We just had to walk through a hallway to get to it. We did not encounter any problems or other guests. We parked in The Vic public parking structure down a couple of blocks - it was $23 to park for the night: We would definitely stay here again.」Kyra

「The regular elevator was not working and needed to rely on staff to use the service elevator. Although I understand they were doing maintenance on the elevator, it was frustrating based on the extremely high rate of the stay because of the marathon.」Denise

「Tv didn’t work. Was locked out at midnight because key didn’t work. Loud banging early am above. Non responsive staff. Check in time said 2pm. Wasn’t allowed until 4pm. Asked for partial refund or credit or SOMETHING due to my awful experience was just told no. Extremely disappointing.」Alexandra

「When I check in, the staff don't have smile, the whole procedure was in a serious face。Wifi setting was difficult, TV remote control also not user friendly。 Breakfast was terrific。 Good location easy to walk to river side。」CHI FONG
