“Clean rooms and friendly helpful staff all a a great price.”

“This is a motel that is far above most I have stayed in. Room is clean, the temperature was set to what I liked before I got there. Most times at other places the room is hot or cold and you have to wait for the catchup time before it would be comfortable. The staff was perfect, new there job, performed it perfectly. I didn't eat breakfast. The pool and hot tub were not in service and new this before I rented. I also wouldn't use the pool or hot tub anyway, wouldn't have had time. The best part……

“This was a perfect solution to my needs as I was hunting a lease in Antigo. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Everything was clean, and they provided EVERYTHING, including cleaning supplies, laundry soap and dryer sheets, towels and rags for the kitchen and bath, soap and shampoo, and garbage bags. There's even a gas grill that you get to use! Will definitely stay here whenever I'm in the area. Very conveniently located right off of 45. There's no way you can do better than this for the cost. Very……

“Great place very clean. Kind managers of property.”

“I was satisfied with this hotel and would stay again. The inside was great. The only reason for four stars was that the outside grounds were not very well kept.”

“Very clean, great breakfes and the rate was about average for the Wausau/Merrill WI area.”

“Loved staying here, we visited from out of state to see relatives in this area. The retreat is wonderful. Everything we needed. Host even let us stay an extra day when asked. Was clean and offered a washing machine and dryer, fire Pitt, swings for the kids. Grill, full kitchen. We will try to come again.”

“I booked this hotel through Expedia to attend a conference. My colleague did the same. Hotel refuses to get me a receipt so I can't expense it, but they have given my colleagues a receipt. Horrible will not book again.”

“Just what we wanted small cabin in the woods. Piece and quiet. Second time staying here and 3rd time with host. Highly recommend.”

“A really magnificent departure from the mid-range, vanilla hotels that we business travelers frequent. You'll experience coolness overload when you stay here. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed and the communal areas are stunning in a way that fans of Gustav Stickley, Teco, Weller, etc won't easily forget. The breakfast was superb too. The only drawback-It was really hot, and the A/C in this old girl couldn't keep up. Luckily there was a large fan in the room. Walking……

“We stayed in room 237 which is directly across from the stairwell. Cold air gushed up the stairs and into our room. There was no good way to regulate the temperature. We have stayed at this hotel many times and have never had problems. However I will never stay in that room again.”
