「Absolutely incredible location with a modern, new ‘cabin’…ice cold A/C!Thayer Lake access on property allowed for kayaking in easy water. There’s a Torch Lake beach about 3 minutes away for swimming etc. We enjoyed The Muffin Tin in Alden! The owners were great to communicate with and work with. The in-unit ductless washer/dryer was a huge plus for me. The water is a little hard so plan accordingly if not used to it. I personally slept on the queen. It’s a little too plush for my preference, I...

「Peaceful and adorable」

「A perfect location for doing lots of things in Northern Michigan! We had dinner in Gaylord, Bellaire, Charlevoix, had good access to several scenic sections of the North Country Trail, and the property even had its own beautiful pond. A perfect small cabin for a couple or two, perfectly appointed. They lost one star because I didn't receive the code before check in time, but a quick phone call fixed it all up.」

「Very responsive!」

「Overall, nice cabin but it is on a somewhat busy corner. Nice log cabin with plenty of space and a nice fire pit. 」

「Pristine cottage on a quiet lake. Love the patio with the couch overlooking the lake - perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors without bugs biting. Everything was super nice in the cottage.」

「No A/C in the main cabin and it was very old. The new cabin was great. Dock and location were a 5 star. The older cabin needs a major update. Fire pit was really nice set up too. Almost 400 bucks for late check out after getting the "friendly reminder" text at 8am that we need to be out by 11. That 400 bucks buys you an extra hour. Oh ya and by the way, "never expected" but, you can clean the place for us, start the dishwasher and put all the dirty towels in one place. Over all I would come...

「Had a nice clean 1 bedroom cabins with a hill side view of Torch lake. The beach & docks were great for our boating needs. The two bedroom cabins have a wood burning fireplace. The property has plenty of nice dry wood stacked & ready to burn.」

「I would stay there again! Overall the experience was positive. The host was on point.」

「Cabin was so cute and very clean! Great location, close to beautiful Torch Lake! (through the backyard and two houses down from the lake)Close to Alden and Bellaire. Paul was easy to get a hold of and responded immediately. Easy check-in and check-out process. Glad there was a grill so we could grill out and sit on the patio. So glad Paul allowed us to bring our dogs. Thank you Paul!」

「We loved our stay! The house had absolutely everything anyone would need, the location is great and the furnishings comfy. The house was clean and still felt new. We visited Charlevoix, Bellaire, rented a pontoon and golfed. Everything was close by!」

「The property was great and more than advertise great location clean and well maintained full of everything.Thank you so much hopefully will see you again.」

「The sunrises were incredible, the beds were so soft, and we had two awesome bonfires. Really a terrific place for a sister trip. Would’ve been nice to know that the water is sulfur water, and it would’ve helped to have a better lit walk while late at night. I highly recommend it, and would stay here again and again and again!」

「We have stayed at that cabin for several years, and always enjoy it. Beautiful view of the lake and sunsets. The marina is close by and so is the dockside restaurant. We enjoy the privacy that this cabin provides.」

「The pictures look way better than the house actually is. The woodwork in the house needs updating. One side of the decking needs to be repaired and put up to code. And also painted. The view over the deck is breathtaking. The host's were very easy and nice to work with.Instructions getting in and out and about the home are all great.Therese and Dan」
