Hotel location very good. Rooms very cramped same as bathroom, towels were so small and looked very old and stained. Food was good BUT service was so bad always waiting for someone to take our order, when they did will be waiting for so long only to find out no order was placed. Staff need alot more training in customer service.

Late check option was great, it does cost but half of the full room rate up to 7pm - good for late check out. Served purpose of being there for business, space to conduct meetings, good flow indoor with outdoor freshness, good staff, only issue was arriving to room not fully serviced however they quickly remedied

I really like staying at the Lava Hotel. I really like the feel of the whole place. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable although a little small for me. I highly recommend the Lava. I try to stay there every time I visit Samoa.

Zuerst einmal die guten Sachen, auch wenn es wenige sind: Die Lobby und der Poolbereich sind wunderschön und die meisten Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung. Jetzt zu den negativen Erlebnissen, die der Hauptgrund für diese Bewertung sind: Die Zimmer sind zwar in Ordnung eingerichtet aber sehr abgenutzt und bei unserem ersten Zimmer waren Türklinke und Wasserhahn locker. Der Fernseher hat wenn er benutzt wurde Pixelfehler und flackern im Bild gehabt. Das Betttuch war zu kurz und reichte nicht ganz am Fußende über die Matratze. Nach der ersten Nacht stellten wir an unseren Händen und Füßen blasenartige und juckende Flecken fest. Als wir uns auf die Suche nach der Ursache machten, fanden wir eine lebendige Bettwanze im Bett. Wir benachrichtigten sofort das Personal, die uns anboten einen „Deepclean“ des Zimmers vorzunehmen aber wir verlangten einen Zimmerwechsel und bekamen diesen auch. Uns wurde deshalb außerdem angeboten die Wäsche kostenlos waschen zu lassen. Dies nahmen wir auch in Anspruch. Wir ließen uns an der Rezeption am dritten Abend einen Tisch im Restaurant reservieren, als wir ankamen wusste niemand Bescheid und wir wurden von der Kellnerin relativ unfreundlich behandelt als ob wir einen Fehler gemacht hätten. Bei der Abreise wollte die Rezeptionistin uns dann auf einmal noch die Wäsche berechnen, die wir wegen der Bettwanzen kostenlos gewaschen bekommen sollten. Leider die schlechteste Erfahrung unserer ganzen Reise und dafür viel zu teuer!

My sister and I enjoyed our 9 day stay here. Would highly recommend to those who want to be close to town. Friendly and helpful staff. They make the perfect Blue Lagoon. They need a Beyond the Reef cocktail as well. 😂 Overall, I’d give it a 9 out of 10
