“We were fortunate to be upgraded to the deluxe "cabins" at the top of the property but were also very pleased with the rafting trip and staff at the center. The restaurant at the river was very good and a great convenience as we dined there all three nights of our stay. The prices there were very reasonable for dinner. The train trip offered at Bryson City was excellent and about a 20 minute drive to reach.”

“The room was OK, parking is great, front desk people were great. The bathroom was poor. Lots of fruit fly type bugs around, the shower stall was disgusting, the shower head was on a non secured pipe so wobbled about, hot water took forever to arrive (what a waste). The toilet tank had a top that didn’t fit the toilet make. Very convenient location. TV was good. An additional water heater would really help.”

“The bed and bedding in my room was clean and very comfortable. Unfortunately the walk down the hallway had a terrible smell which could have come from cleaning up from dogs that were allowed. The ceiling in my room had mold in the corners. There had been a recent partial update; laminate floors and bathroom flooring. The shower drain and plastic tub were black at the drain. The countertop in the bath should have been updated because it was an old style Venetian marble from the 70’s. There……
