“Our family of 5 and dog stayed at this little cottage. We enjoyed swimming off of the dock and the ability to park our boat. We enjoyed nearby hiking and exploring. We would love to come back. Don’t expect 5 Star, but it does the job for a great price. I am tall and had to duck through doorways and there were a ton of crane flies, but no deal breakers. We enjoyed waking up to the river. Thanks for the enjoyable family get away. ”

“Great Vrbo experience! The house is clean and has nice “amenities” like an air fryer,Laundry detergent, lots of games, etc.The host was very helpful as well. We had a WiFi problem and she contacted me directly to figure it out and offered to come fix it personally if needed. Also just a really cute house! The porch was nice too and I’d love to come stay again when it isn’t 100 degrees to enjoy it.”

“We loved our stay at Hawk’s View- Mountain Cottage. The location was close to restaurants, hiking and shops. The view was amazing, the cottage was very clean with a comfortable bed. It was the perfect location for a weekend getaway. ”

“The property was perfect for us and was very clean. It is in a pretty area that is surrounded by trees and sounds of nature. The dock makes for a pretty view of the lake as well. Kitchen supplies were enough to make some quick meals and the a/c works really well as we visited in summer. The hosts were very kind and made our trip more enjoyable. Mr. Falleur provided me with helpful information about the area such as kayaking and fishing. They also have a binder that lists different restaurants in……

“My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It's in a gated community with a large playground and an enormous pool, but the cabin itself is beautifully hidden in the woods surrounded by wildlife! It is close to Lake catherine state park and Garvan Gardens which we love. My son is already talking about going back!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The house was cozy yet spacious. Perfect for our family of 5. The kids enjoyed the paddleboards and fishing. We planned activities in the surrounding area, but couldn't wait to come back to the cabin each day. The hosts were very welcoming and were fun to visit with. They had great recommendations and knew a lot about the area. We plan to stay again if we are back in the area. ”
