"Great cute historic inn. Felt like we stepped into the past… but with amenities :) cute little light breakfast bar. The Tavern that is attached /downstairs is awesome and such a “local vibe “ and really tasty food ! What a nice surprise this place and the cute little town of Jasper was. We came here as a last minute change of plans. I recommend . There’s a nice little downtown to walk around as well."

"Neil was great communicating how to access the room. And, additional printed instructions were helpful for the A/C unit. Everything was clean which is always something I look for. Bathroom was newly done and very nice. I was confused with the listing as the photo labeled “Exterior” is a stone/brick building and the “Parking” all in downtown Jasper. The listing said “Studio Apartment”- which I feel is not accurate as there’s no kitchen?? I think a more accurate description would be, “Guest Suite” or “Guest Quarters”?? It was a nice hotel suite, not an apartment. I was surprised when I arrived at a residential neighborhood and a single family house. There were no photos of the front of this at all. As a solo female traveler, I would not have selected this knowing this was the set up. I thought I was renting a studio apartment in a multi-unit building with the front entrance through a common access door- not an exterior patio door through the backyard. The unit itself was fine. I just felt the listing was a bit misleading by not clarifying it was within someone’s house that was still being occupied."

"This secluded mountain cabin had everything we needed and more. The view was wonderful, especially with the colorful fall foliage and the stream on the property. The host (Darryl) could not have been more helpful and gracious! Loved our stay there and have already recommended it to our friends!"

"This house is quite charming. The host has gone above and beyond to ensure that guests are comfortable and feel welcome. The decor is amazing. Very nice touches including a well-equipped coffee bar with coffees, teas, snacks, etc. The appliances are high end including a Subzero fridge . The master bedroom bed is comfy and is adjustable! (Note that there is no closet space in the master bedroom so we used closets in other rooms)The hot tub has many jets and feels great. Wonderful ceiling fans that move air well and quietly. Nice laundry room with modern washer & dryer. Furnishings are functional and comfy. Well equipped with TVs. The host was always reachable and very helpful and accommodating. The location was great for us since it is very close to our destination venue at Sharp Mountain and a relatively short drive away from downtown Jasper and Walmart. It is on SR 53 so there was noise from the fast moving traffic but this decreased significantly at night. We enjoyed our stay at Margy’s Farmhouse and recommend it highly. "
