The property is old and quirky, our room was spacious with many pictures and ornaments in the room, the cleaning/housekeeping team need to be more thorough with cleaning of picture frames, lights and fittings as there were big cobwebs hanging from picture and ceiling. The staff were excellent and very helpful. We would go back to the hotel again.

The Norfolk Arms Hotel is located in the centre of Arundel in close proximity to many local restaurants, cafes and pubs and only a short walk to Arundel Castle entrance. Hotel check in time is 3pm. We arrived early and although the room wasnt ready for us reception offered to store our baggage till we returned closer to the time - leaving us free to explore the town. The room was of reasonable size with comfortable beds and most importantly spotlessly clean.

Lovely old hotel in the heart of Arundel. Parking on site, restaurant, bar, function rooms. Dates back to the 18C. Very sympathetically restored. Very accommodating when I needed to move my dates. Altigether a very relaxing stay. The Castle was well worth a visit and the gardens are a must. Also popped over to The Weald and Downland Museum. Great weekend. A few observations. The room ceiling was low, there was only a bath so not easy to wash hair. Corridors hadn’t seen a hoover in a while. But these are minor quibbles. Very happy overall.

Considering the building was built in 1783, it's in remarkably good condition. The bedroom was modern, with all the amenities you'd expect. All the people that work there are great, but the wife and I spent time talking to Lara and Eddie in the bar - both lovely people. The food was nice, the drink prices reasonable, and the breakfast we had in the morning was very nice, and served by a very polite, friendly, and hard working young lady - who's name I didn't get. This was a spur-of-the- moment trip to Arundel. We like it there, so I'm hoping we'll make another visit soon.

Well situated in the centre of Arundel. Room was fine, with a comfortable bed. Excellent dinner and friendly staff. Hotel is in a very old building, parts of which are showing their age. Good value for an overnight stay and would use it again.
