Really impressed with the lodge, it was beautiful.

Really impressed with the lodge, it was beautiful. The surroundings are also stunning. We explored the local area and went on a couple of hikes to Mam Tor etc the hot tub was perfect for our achey legs. Only criticism is that there are not quite enough pots and pans if you were cooking for a family of four, and the dishwasher is extremely noisy when on. Will definitely be coming back here again in the future though

A lovely place for a quiet getaway! Very dog friendly and the dog treats and toy was a nice touch on arrival! The staff are friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant is nice and the food is good. The lodge was clean but could have been cleaner, a few cobwebs around and some areas a bit dusty. The bed was very comfy but the pillows could do with replacing as they had gone flat in the middle and very firm on the outside.
